ABC is the largest publicly listed childcare operator in the world, based on centre numbers.

ABC commenced its operations in Australia and listed on the ASX in 2001 with a market capitalisation of approximately $25 million. The Company has since grown through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. ABC has also integrated several business models of acquired businesses into ABC’s systems as part of this growth. The Company currently has operations in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and the United Kingdom.

The ABC Group has sought to elevate standards for the provision of childcare through its centres, with its focus on providing superior amenities and comprehensive training and support to centre staff.

The Company has invested in the quality of its centres and equipment to provide a better environment for childcare and education. Centre staff undergo programs of continuous training and education on a regular basis. This, combined with ongoing curriculum development for children, is ABC’s strategy to facilitate and foster best practice in early childhood education and care.
