Our Staff are the heart of each local ABC centre. Their dedication to providing each child with the individual care and education they need to learn and develop is what makes them special as people and professionals. All early childhood professionals play a very important role in the lives of families and the community - and the teams at each local ABC centre are no different. They are committed to supporting families to provide children with the best start in life.
Children are encouraged to learn through play, developing their skills and interests as they grow. It is the well thought out and comprehensive learning programs developed by local carers and teachers that ensure children flourish. Your child's carers bring their own individual skills and experiences to the classroom, enhancing their own personal teaching style and the programs they create.
Our staff are early childhood professionals who are committed to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally. Staff training and assessment services incorporate holistic practices in child development and are designed to assist them in both early childhood and real world situations. Staff may hold qualifications such as a Certificate III, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and for some a Masters degree. All staff are employed in accordance with the Child Care Regulations and Acts specific to each State/Territory.
Most of all, our carers are rewarded by the smiles, the cuddles and the fun they share with children every day.
